Powder Hound Skis
My first day on these was an epic Utah powder day - perfect for seeing what the Auras are capable of! I thought with a fatter ski I would have to muscle through my turns more than normal, but the Volkls make it effortless even in tight trees. They float perfectly through deep powder, but are easily manageable on the groomers & bumps. I went a little shorter on these than my old skis, but they still move! These are just right for the woman who loves powder above all else, but doesn't want to buy another pair of skis for the days in between storms. Plus, they look as cool in person as they do in the picture!


Great wide skis
I had an opportunity to demo these on a powder day at Mt. Baker (about a foot of fresh) and they handled great. Not as quick edge to edge as my all-mountain skis but that's not what they are for..they definitely cut through the powder effortlessly. Needlessly to say, I now own a pair :)


love them
I love these skis. They float in powder and bang through crud. They turn beautifully in the steeps and keep it together on the hard pack. Not ideal for high speed cruising, but I've taken them out every day since I had them mounted, no matter what the conditions are and I've been really happy with them. You won't regret it!
