Big Danny Kass, one of Vans' illest pipe and slopestyle team riders, designed the eponymous Danny Kass III Men's Snowboard Boot—maybe you've heard of him? Danny prefers a slightly stiffer, more supportive fit. His third signature model is stiffer than the Vans Encore boot, thanks in part to a built-in internal support harness. Power straps on the forefoot and cuff also provide a snug, secure fit. Vans' V-Tread Snowaffle Air Outsole increases sensitivity with better sole-edge traction. Compression-molded EVA midsoles with forefoot gel pads provide lightweight cushioning and zone-specific shock absorption. Dual heel gel-pads disperse impact, while an arch-stability platform and full-wrap heel cradle provide excellent support and response. Antimicrobial footbeds fight foot odor so you can ride home with the windows up. The Danny Kass III comes equipped with a Recco badge and a hidden cargo stash pocket. Olympic silver medal not included.

Take this boot all over the place
Man this boot always turns heads, the brightest, most stylish boot around. Danny Kass designed this one perfectly. The power straps really tighten that boot very snugly and the fit is extremely comfortable. Not the stiffest boot out there, but I still love taking it nearly anywhere on the mountain. No complaints- an amazing freestyle boot.

Got these after Christmas and just one word... amazing...came from a pair of Burton hails to these, head turning color, and they are perfect for rails, kickers, etc..... just the right amount of flex and you can go loose or really strap the things down with the power straps, and still light enough to hike with... vans for life


Crazy
i have these boots and love them but there is one thing to watch for and that is if you have flow bindings that you should beware that the metal piece on the toe strap might start to come off... all this means is that you have to use a pair of pliers to close them real good..... besides that these boots are one of my favourites people always complement them and there really comfortable.

crazy comfortable, mad style points perfect flex range. only bad things about the boot is that its a bit heavy, and its hard to tighten the laces and the hook and loop closure strap.
