Meridian vs. Paramount pants
I bought the Meridian first and decided that I liked the Paramount convertible pant much better. The Merdian is very thin, lacks pockets and the zip off pants legs are harder to get off over boots than the Paramount pant. I love the paramount pants, I have since bought a pair for my wife.

The North Face Meridian convertible pants have a great fit, great comfort, great deep pockets, and a great price.
Good but...
Good length, styling, pockets, dried very quickly. One problem, when wearing with fleece jacket, the pants collected lint like you would not believe. Thought maybe it was the jacket, but did not have same problem with other pants.

I love these pants! Climbed in the Gorge this past weekend and they held up nicely. However, watch those knees. I still got scraped a bit but it’s not the pant’s fault. A+ Recommend to anyone!
these pants are great....
I got these pants not knowing if I would like them or not. I am so glad I got them...they kept me cooler as I could zip off the legs....and when I got rained on...they dried very very fast, much like a swim suit. They also provided more than enough protection when I decided to slide down a granite face....no rips...no tears. Great pants north face...and great service from this site.
