Thule Nomad Cargo Bag



Works well
Strong fabric, good straps and zippers, nice weather protection design. It fits on my 2001 VW Passat Wagon. The two side straps match the position of the two vertical pillars on the VW factory rails, I don't have any other rack equipment. Shifts around a bit on winding roads, so that may cause scratching if there's a lot of dust involved. That may be alleviated by strapping it down better if I had a crossbar on my rack where I could attach the additional provided straps, but I haven't tried.


Great Cargo bag
I received the Nomad Cargo bag just before going on vacation, and it was wonderful. It stored a lot of things and kept them dry and out of the elements. Once I understood how to mount it on top of the car, the bag worked just great. I really liked the handy storage bag. Great product from a great company.


Great Bag
This bag worked great on our 13 hour trip across Kansas to Colorado. It was snowy and rainy when we left and there was no moisture inside of the bag when we got there. I would recommend getting something to bind up the straps because they slap against the roof of your car which gets old pretty quick. Great purchase!
