Great new lenses
These lenses are great! I have very sensitive eyes and bought these lenses (the darkest Smith makes) for a windsurfing trip to Baja. They were fantastic--no squinting or sun headaches for me!


Smith Shades
I've been a big fan of the Smith Slider 01 series for about 4 years now and own two pairs of them. They're excellent for allergy sufferers who wish to keep their eyes void of pollen while still enjoying outdoor sports like golf, biking and attending kids sporting events. The biggest advantage of the Slider Series is that even when your lenses become scratched, simply order a new set of lenses and you're back in business. My biggest problem for some of my older pairs is that the rubber sleeves that wraparound your ear have become torn and very worn and I haven't been able to locate replacements for these from any approved Smith vendor. If you can help me with the replacement sleeves, I'd rate your services a 5 instead of the 4 that I'm giving you now. Thanks, Slider 01 Fan

These are great lenses that look cool. However, I expected a little bit more shading effect from them. I went skiing in CO where the sun was super bright and felt that the lenses could be a shade or two darker. Also, be careful of storing them. I kept them in my jacket when I need to use my goggles and the tip arm rubbed against the inside of the lens creating small scratches. From then on I resorted to wrapping the lens with a cloth before folding them up. I have a case for them but I tend not to carry it on me because it's too bulky. It would be good if the made a soft cloth sleeve that would protect the lenses from being scratched by the arms. Despite these issues I would still buy them again. They are a good quality lens, and I love the fact that I can change them out as the conditions change.


Very Nice
Very nice lenses. Love the color, and they don't distort at all. Things appear clear as can be. I have very sensitive eyes, and these allow me to leave them wide open. There is no squinting. They block all the bad and harness the good!
