Helpful but not essential
The book is a helpful guide to your AXN series wrist computer. It’s helpful, however, only because the Owner's manual that comes with the watch is lacking. Most of the information here isn't new and is available from other sources, including Polar's website and others. I recommend The Heart Monitor Book (Edwards) first. You can figure our how to cross over to outdoor multi-sport on your own. What we really need is book addressing the Polar performance software and how to use it to optimize your training (the Polar documentation is totally inadequate).
