elegant
this is really a wonderful garment from a terrific company. it's soft, warm, beautiful, and stretchy. i said elegant because just like most of the patagonia "unders" you can really wear them as a casual or even dress top.
Excellent Cold Weather Baselayer
I regularly cycle around town in -10F to +20F degree winter weather. The Patagonia Wool 4 baselayer, along with a single wind shell, will keep you warm during heavy activity. When you come in from the cold outdoors, it will let you sit inside without overheating (or smelling ripe). A great all around baselayer for the common cold-warm-cold cycle encountered while maintainng your outdoor training regimen during winter.

Haven't tried it in the cold yet, but workmanship is excellent. Fit is also very good. Weight is 281gr for a size small, not 227gr as stated on Patagonia's web site.
