Palmer Crown LE Snowboard
Brand : PalmerItem : PAL0055
Advanced riders that crave precision turning and unbelievable pop will be stoked on the Palmer Crown LE Snowboard. On the inside, you'll find super-strong Nomex honeycomb in the tip and tail for near-nothing swing weight. Palmer's 3D wood core offers precise flex and reduced weight without disrupting its durability. The Crown LE's capped top sheet is made from ultra-tough polyamide and incorporates carbon and titanium inlays to enhance responsiveness and add stiffness. With a shape that will carve like crazy and float like a boat in powder, the Crown LE comes in three popular lengths. For sinister top-end speed, Palmer equips this board with a 7200 graphite race base that is not only fast but also rock hard and ready to ride out of the box thanks to its stone-ground finish and factory wax. This board is like a Ferrari – it's not for everybody.

Palmer Crown LE Snowboard
crown let down
It's True , The Palmer Crown 2007 is a good light board, fast and great off piste. But what is the point of all this if after 2 months of riding the board starts to self destruct? Disappointment to say the least, after taking time to look for a top board to take to Les Arc France for the season. After the first month, the front tip started to split which was not due to hitting rocks ,i repaired this by rebonding the decks together again, this was real hard to do with carbon fiber once out of the mold, but it worked although didn't look too pretty. Now the side wall, where the fluorescent green strip is bonded to the top deck, has popped and opened up starting to run a split along the edge of the board..allowing the moisture to get into the ply, so the problem is just going to get worse. It also chips and marks real easy, being carbon topped. This board is sold as the board for advanced riders, but theres no way this board could stand up to freeriding in all conditions. To add insult to injury, try getting hold of Palmer..... I see now why people buy Burton,at least the back up is there.
good board
this is a very good board with solid edging, fast base, and decent pop. I recommend taking a look at the LibTech TRS Magnetraction. It's cheaper and is an incredible multitasking board. Demo'ed a used one and tore it up.
