Mountain Hardwear Typhoon
I couldn't wait to get my hands on the Typhoon when I first read about it. It seemed to be one of the last things in the closet I didn't have (a lightweight, Gore-Tex, breathable jacket). The typhoon makes it hard for you to pick out any faults. The fit is perfect, very true to size. One nit picky complaint though is I wish it were a 1-2 inches longer. Also, if the side pocket could be moved forward so you didn't feel like you had to reach up into your armpit to get into them. Otherwise the jacket is perfect. The pit zips come in handy on those warm days. The jacket breathes well under mildly warm temps. It has got hot enough yet to see how it holds up in more extreme weather. I lover the hood. One handed cinch on the back plus a neat way to roll it up and get it out of your way if you don't need it. I am giving 4/5, cause of the length and placement of the pockets (seems to be a recurring problem w/ Mountain Hardwear. Just my opinion though.
