Mountain Hardwear Sub Zero SL Parka - Men's

Brand : Mountain Hardwear
Item : MHW0137

For the ultimate in nasty weather, you'll want the ultimate in down coats. The Mountain Hardwear Sub Zero SL Parka covers you in 650-fill down to keep you warm, and is made with Conduit laminate to be water- and windproof. Nutshell Taslan reinforcement is super tough to resist the ravages of pack straps, rock and the rest of the abuse you put your poor, innocent coats through. The Parka compresses down mind-bendingly small into the included stuff sack. The Sub Zero's down-filled hood is detachable, and gives you super warmth for super cold conditions. Baffle construction keeps the down where it belongs so it doesn't all shift to one end of the coat.

Mountain Hardwear Sub Zero SL Parka - Men's

Nice jacket for fat people
The Sub Zero SL Parka is a great jacket. The hood is well designed, comfortable and adjustable, it can be easily worn unattached so that you can turn your head and still stay warm. The one drawback of this jacket is that it's a loose fit. There are drawcords around the base and waist, which is good, but the waist drawcord only pulls in the back of the jacket, leaving the possibility of drafts up the front. One possible advantage of all that extra space is that I can fit my knees inside the jacket if I'm sitting around and it's freezing, but Mountain Hardwear should change the design of the waist drawcord to allow the jacket to give a closer fit.

Oh Yeah.
Nothing like being warm and toasty. I love it. Like being wrapped in a super warm sleeping bag. Tough material also.

Great Parka
Very warm, very well constructed, and great pockets. It looks great too. All in all, it’s a great parka. It certainly has been all that I was looking for.

MY Sub Zero SL Parka
This is by far the "VERY BEST" parka I've ever owned. The quality is SUPERB,you would be hard pressed to find a better parka than this.To be able to roll it up and fit it in its small packing/storing bag is just an added bonus. You could climb Mt.Everest and still be warm with this jacket, your head is well covered, you just feel so very snug in it.

Great Buy
Great parka if you need to be toasty. I definitely recommend the longer length since I am 6'6" (compared to the regular Sub Zero Parka). No colds spots in the jacket. It can get a little too warm if you are using it with a lot of physical activity.
