Better than the Nuptse
I got this jacket for my girlfriend and it has quickly become her favorite. The jacket is more fitted than the North Face Nuptse. Its a good down jacket.


awesome coat for the price
This jacket is awesome! Yes, feathers poke through now and then (very common with real down) however it never fails to keep me warm! Use Oxy Clean on the sleeves if it gets too dirty... no big deal! And the price is awesome for what it's worth...


Not what I expected from Marmot
I bought this coat last week - love the fit, very warm, but feathers are poking through all over. The material used for the shell must not be a tight enough weave to contain the down. I'm returning the coat.


DO NOT BUY BLUE MARMOT GUIDE SWEATER!
I bought the blue marmot guide down sweater jacket coat on December 10th 2006. From absolute normal everyday wear...grocery shopping, Christmas shopping, the jacket began to pick up what I call "road dust" on the cuffs. NORMAL minor amounts of dirt that you can get from a shopping cart. ...so I threw it in the wash with Down fabric wash that is recommended and washed it per instructions and per the same way I get my North face down jacket clean...did it come clean ? NO! So I washed it again...NO.. NOTHING worked.
