Not very practical
I got these for skiing by myself. These weren't very practical when skiing down black and double-black diamonds. I found that you lose a lot of concentration when you have music playing. The sound quality is decent, but the speakers hurt my ears when it got really cold one day. They were pressed up against my ears and it got really annoying. The last three days of my trip I put in the original ear pieces on the helmet, but I'm sure I'll use these every once and a while. For everyone out there looking to buy these, I would tell you to pass. They don't help you to ride better, and they are kind of irritating.


unfriendly ports
Loved the sound and ease of installation of the soundtracks in the helmet, but after one day of hard riding, the docking port where you plug the cable to the ear speakers came unglued from it's position, resulting in an impossible-to connect-without-surgery situation. Alas the techs at the local board shop supplied us with scissors and duct tape and we cut into the setup, found the rouge port, plugged in, duct taped the damage and were good to go. Someone could rethink this connection problem for future models....
