i've ridden a gnu carbon highbeam and i jumped on the libtech and was astonished by the responsiveness of this board! perfect amount of flex and a really effective edge .. i bombed the hills at bbmr like no other! can't wait to ride it again!
best all-mountain deck out there
I got last year's dark series and absolutely love it. Its has a perfect all-mountain flex that allows you to bomb the mountain and stay in control, while still being able to do presses on boxes in the park. Not to mention it probably has the most pop of any board I've been on. Sick even w/o magne-traction.

I got this board (164 W) out on the mountain this past weekend, I'm loving it! I went without the magna and it hooks up great. Its been easy for me to ride switch as well. The built in Risers help with my big foot and seem to make turns easier. I would recommend it.
Awesome Board/Question
I ride the very first version of the LibTech Dark Series (158cm) and I can say I have never ridden a better board. Not only can i ride any slope switch or regular but I can also pop higher than I ever have before. My question to other riders is: Is the 06/07 model of the Dark Series extremely different from the older models?
Looking for an all-mountain freestyle deck????
Won't go wrong with this dark series. Sick freestyle deck, tons of pop, the built in risers give you a lot more control. Super responsive board, can tear up the groomers but didn't get to try it out in the pow yet. Need some more of that out here right now. Perfect flex, not too soft but definitely not too stiff. Perfect for pressin boxes and just messin around too.
