The Karhu Jak BC Telemark Ski shares the progressive all-mountain sidecut and wide platform of the Jak, but features a lightweight backcountry construction. The Microlite core and the Carbon Powerband allow the Jak BC Ski to achieve a high level of performance in a lightweight package. The BC might not be as laterally stiff as the Jak, but that'll be the farthest thing from your mind while surfing through three feet of the wicked white. The progressive sidecut makes it easier to initiate into and pop out of turns; you'll be cruising between trees in the backcountry while your buddies are still trying to see your line. 4D fiberglass construction lays fiberglass in four directions around the Jak's core to make it torsionally rigid, so as fat as it is, you'll find it to be crisp and responsive as you descend into your favorite powder stash.
