K2 Public Enemy Alpine Ski

Brand : K2
Item : K2S0308

The K2 Public Enemy Alpine Ski's 'hood is the park, but it's a legit big-mountain ride as well. The Public Enemy Alpine Ski returns bigger and badder than ever with an extra 5mm of width in the tip, waist, and tail. The Public Enemy Alpine Ski 's graphics are toned down a bit from the past, but K2 strengthened its build with ABS sidewalls and 2.5mm wide-edges. Go ahead and stomp on the most burred, damaged, ghetto rails you can find. The PE ski's already taken some metal, with its .45-automatic shell casing tip and tail rivets. With a phat 85mm underfoot, the Public Enemy Alpine Ski is tough enough to survive backcountry booters and big mountain lines. *Available for US shipment only.

K2 Public Enemy Alpine Ski

Unbelivable
I just got back from a five day trip to Killington today. These skis were stunning. Most of the snow was terrible but they still impressed me. They were hitting jumps extremely smooth. These skis don't just get nice air too, they can really book. Its amazing how well they can carve actually. I'm a big dude, 6'5 215, I have them at 179, and I don't have to fight them like I do with most skis because of my size. If you like to book and get some nasty air get these skis. As a piece of personal advice, get the PX-12 Jib Bindings from Look for these skis. I got them, the JIB pads really do make a difference, a lot less stress on your legs when you land hard.

Be a Public Enemy...
Get the Public Enemy's. They rock. My friend has a pair and I borrowed them, and I'll probably steal them for sure. They are a great all mountain ski that can kill it in the park too. Stiff enough to carve hard and rip through crud, wide enough to float in pow.

great ski!
I'm 14 years old and I went skiing yesterday on the new publics and all I have to say is they are amazing! They’re great in the park and all mountain stuff too! I’m only 126 pounds but ollieing on these was pretty easy. Most people say this is a heavy ski but I disagree. Once again it’s a great ski but either find a lower price or wait for it to go on sale!

Wow
Took these out for a demo ride (6'0", 174lbs, rode the 169cm, Colorado) - I didn't take the guy seriously when he recommended I try them out, as I am not a huge park rider but prefer difficult runs and moguls. The twin tips allowed for tighter turns in moguls - as the back of the ski does not grab as in flat skis, they cut hard on all turns regardless of ice, groomed, or powder - they are VERY fast on groomed surface and they are fairly stiff, so they are still very rideable at high speeds straight down the mountain. I ended up taking these out for a second day. The only downside is they seemed to really bog down in any deep powder, but could be fixed by getting a larger ski.

Does it all!
This ski is really a good do it all ski. I skied it in several conditions: hardpack, ice, powder, wind buff, and slush. It handled all of it with ease. It is extremely stable at high speeds. With that being said, I am selling my set because it is one of the most poorly constructed skis I have ever owned. The P-tex top looks good out of the wrapper, but after one or two hard days it is trashed. It is very soft, therefore it is easy to cut through it with the slightest bump from the ski edge. If you are a park rider, I would stay away from these skis because their durability is not as good as a park ski should be. They are easily fixed with a P-tex candle, but who wants to spend 20 minutes fixing their skis after every day on the slopes. Good thinking K2!
