K2 One Luv Alpine Ski - Women's w/ Marker Piston M1 11.0 TC Bindings

Best skis I've ever skied on
I bought the One Luv's to replace some old straight 180s that I had. I had demo-ed a number of womens parabolics and just fell in love with these. I ski mainly the groomed runs on black diamonds with the occasional mogul run. Regardless of the condition of the slope, packed powder or on ice; these skis always delivered. I'm use to chattering over the ice and just waiting until I get an edge to grip so I can turn - with these skis I never had to wait. The responsiveness and control they gave me were exceptional. Both entering and exiting turns these skis felt solid. I'm also happy that I got a womens parabolic over a mens, the light weight of these skis made it so I wasn't as tired - I could still be going down the aggressive runs at the end of the day. I tried some Salomon women's ski's earlier and where they were great on packed groom runs, though I never had the confidence I had in the One Luvs. I choose the One Luv over the Burning Luv because it's a slightly softer ski and lower priced. Though I would think I would like the Burning Luv as well. Both come with the Marker Piston bindings which I am a fan of. I had trouble finding a place to demo these skis, but in chatting with the backcountry.com salesman I found they have an extremely flexible return policy. I could buy them, ski on them, and then if I didn't like them, I just had to pay the $15 return shipping on them to return them. (And $15 is cheaper than paying for a demo anyways, so it seemed like an easy decision for me). Needless to say, I won't be returning them, but it was nice to have confidence in knowing I could if I wanted to.
