The Head Monster i.M 77 SRF 6 Alpine Ski has a tech-sounding name. What it does is simple: it keeps you skiing with satisfaction and ease from morning pow to afternoon hardpack. How it works is a little more complicated. The 119/77/104mm dimensions provide a solid platform for bouncing through new snow and laying down fast carves. Head ingrained Intellifibers into the core of the ski. As you turn, these little guys generate energy and transmit it to a microchip located under the binding. The energy is amplified and returned to the fibers, which act as a dampening device, stabilizing the 77 when you're carving super fast on bulletproof. To ensure that energy carries into your next turn, Head's new Liquidmetal technology—a layer of material located just under the topsheet, which returns all of the energy generated during a turn—provides a lively, responsive ride. The lightweight RFD12 binding system keeps the 77 flexible in soft snow and confident on ice. And the RFD binding cranks up to 12 to push the i.M 77 in any condition.

My best friend
These heads are my best friend. The eat up powder, chowder, mash potatoes, frozen death cookies, and bullet proof New England ICE. I have taken them all over the mountain in all conditions and they do not lack anything except for fall line turns, but then they are NOT SL race boards. They float, plow through spring slop and they bite in ice what more can you want in an expert off mountain ski that you can also hang on on in bounds and not get board??? Thank you head for these "monsters," most of us do not get in the starting gate and judge our day by 100's and 10th's of seconds. I would buy these again any day!!!
