The removable earpads are backed with plush fleece padding. Because you're in combat mode, you'll have to do without ventilation. Featuring Giro's basic TuneUps audio system, the Lieutenant comes equipped with stereo headphones and a control cord built-in. It's tight
Pretty good helmet and the sound is awesome. Its already saved me some black outs on and off the hill. The audio system is sweet and keeps tunes rockin' until some annoying dude on the lift starts a one-sided conversation which you feel compelled to listen to so you just hit the handy lil mute button. Downside? The ear flaps are a little tight and you may endure some sore ears till your used to it.
