Fits like a glove! Lightweight, comfortable, decent arch support, and good dry trail traction. They have treated me well from the Adirondack's to the Wind River Range. Fits to size. Highly recommended!
so tough
Killer approach shoe! Used on 14,000 ft peaks in Colorado, and day hikes in Utah. Works well all around and better than ANY technical approach shoe out there! My sled dog chewed on 'em for 45 minutes and quit. Plus they're comfortable beyond imagination, slightly wide but cinch down so tight that they are a regular width. Only goodness from this shoe!

This shoe does exactly what it's billed to do: work as a great approach shoe that sticks to rocks when scrambling. It's very comfortable and relatively lightweight. Definitely a good choice!
Best and most versatile shoes I've ever bought
I can say without any hesitation that these are the best shoes I've ever bought. They're extremely comfortable right from the start, and required absolutely no breaking in. I use them for boulder scrambling and climbing, free running, biking, and everyday use, and they're still going strong after almost a year. I sometimes use them for regular trail or street running, but I try not to make it a rule as they don't have the best roll and support for that kind of activity, but for everything else they tear it up. I especially like them because the sticky soles work beautifully for trail riding on my bike; I don't really have to worry about losing my footing on my pedals but I also am not clamped on the the pedals if I fall, which I would be for regular bike shoes. All around, I couldn't be happier. I bought the pair I own on sale quite a while back, but wouldn't hesitate to buy em full price when these ones wear out. Happy trails.
