It changes automatically to accommodate electric appliances between 0-1875 watts. It comes with five ungrounded adapter plugs needed for world wide travel since you cannot use a voltage converter without an adapter plug. Do not use your computer with any Eagle Creek transformer or converter.

Great product
I used this converter set in many parts of Europe and Africa. It worked very well. The only problem I had was in South Africa and Mozambique. The outlets there were three prong with circular prongs. I had to use a converter (which were easy to find in my location) to go from three prong to two prong and then I was able to use this converter set.
