the vest keeps me warm. very warm. it's a bit short in length, but that may be due to my long torso. fits perfect into my ballistic parka. not much else to say, it's pricy but definitely worth it.

The Vest to You
I recently was in a store in Newton, Ma and saw a fleece vest from Columbia that I liked. They didn't have my size so I went on the web to buy direct. I found several nice alternatives and selected the Ballistic Vest (no, not bullet proof). I received it in about two weeks with free shipping. I liked it and have worn it many times since. I noticed it was a bit large, perhaps cut to go over a sweat shirt. I went back to the store in Newton and tried on the original vest which was one size smaller and a different style. It fit so I bought it also and now I have two vests....I'm twice as happy...what a country
About that....
The vest is comfortable but it doesn’t do a great job keeping warm in the cold. Seems like most Columbia stuff, fashion, not function. Boo.
