instead of some fleecey thang...
This jacket replaced my fleece jacket (WindStopper type thing) and I have no regrets at dropping those bulky uncomfortable jackets from my layering set. Now I look good, am always warm and it even blocks wind. It just doesn't get any better then this as far as mid layers that perform. Get a jacket that really makes good layering sense and is a steller fashion piece for those nights out on the town or under the stars...

This is a decent jacket, but definitely not a technical piece. The cheap looking elastic cuffs and boxy fit, with no way to cinch anything, make this a great jacket for gapers and sponsored athletes. I would take it for free.
Cloudveil jacket is a winner
I like my jacket with one exception: the zipper is crooked when it is unzipped. This may only be a cosmetic issue and may never become a problem. I have never seen this before on any zipper. Anyone else may not care. I like the jacket enough to keep it anyway. If it becomes a problem, then I'll ask Cloudveil to fix the zip. It is a warm jacket even though it is thin and light. The finish is great including the interesting stitch pattern on the outside. Very stylish and functional jacket. I look forward to buying more from Cloudveil (this was my 1st buy from them).
