Burton Basic Leather Pipe Glove - Men's
Just what I was looking for.
I am not a big fan of bulky gloves that restrict my movement, in fact I have only used those little knit glove you can buy at the gas station for the last two seasons... They work great for nice sunny days, but when it was snowing they didn't cut it. So I was looking for a glove that would provide me with insulation and keep my hands dry, but that wasn't too bulky or restrictive, and I found it. This glove is great, It's pretty low profile, but still has a good amount of insulation. It allows good movement, but fits right. All around, I'd say this is a great glove. The white does get dirty easily, but that’s obvious.
be sure to care for the gloves
i had these type of gloves once already... and i didn't treat them at all.. MISTAKE.. my buddy had a similar pair and his still looked brand new.. while mine, after a year, had holes and rips in them.. he said after each time he went out he would treat them with waterproofing.. you can also use something like mink oil.. but you wanna keep the leather in good shape.. they will last you a lot longer.. i know i'll be taking better care of this pair.. so far i have and i like them very much..
if you are looking for...
a nice durable leather glove, you have found it. i have the xls's and don't consider my hand to be xl, but it fits well, a little tight at first but has broken in well. very warm, obviously not for real cold days, but great for spring riding or hiking something.
Good All Around
I was looking for a more flexible glove, and I found it in the Pipe Glove. Its lightweight, and stays pretty warm.
Keep on rockin
In the Burton Basic Pipe Glove that is. I just recently bought some, because I personally dislike bulky gloves, so I was in the market for a mid size, waterproof glove. This glove is all of those and some. They are warm on the coldest of days, and great for the warmest, the leather can take a beating like no others, and the wrist on them comes up pretty high so snow up your jacket is a thing of the past. I recommend these for all season wear.
