Updated for '06, the Crossbow uses the next generation of Torsion Bow technology that started with the original. This creates greater power on the inside edge of the ski through the turn. Black Diamond also changed the flex pattern for easier transition between turns and lightened the Crossbow to make it more backcountry friendly. this ski rocks!
This ski is great. It stands up to all the high reviews it has received. It is very stable at high speeds but still has the control needed to make tight turns. The skis are on the stiff side so probably not for beginners but for anyone who knows how to tele, this is a rocking ski.
