Atomic's Metron B5 lets you carve fast, round turns in any snow type from boilerplate to crud to powder. Beta 5 technology spreads energy and pressure over the entire effective edge for buttery-smooth, high-speed handling. Atomic's increased camber and Active Power Extension system sucks up rough terrain for unparalleled edge grip. Atomic Metron B5 Alpine Ski

Ferrari on Snow!
This is a high-end ski, so be prepared, and don't try to baby them. This ski MUST be ridden full out at all times or it gets a little tempermental. If you're in control and are telling the skis what to do, they'll stick with you. Stay firm on your edges because they require a little bit of input to make them sing or to push through crud. The harder you push the harder they push back! I've yet to find the limit. They can’t be over powered! They inspire huge amounts of confidence. Short or long carves, doesn't matter. With a massive base area, they are very quick but are best suited for steep groomers. They seem mildly intimidating, but they are remarkably easy to ride if you know what you're doing.

Metron B5
The best wide tracking 180 degree carving ski in Aspen.

Atomic Metron B5
I had Atomic Metron B 5 as it came on the market for 4 seasons now; I always had a problem with it. First one that came out and I got it was in 2004 and I had a problem with bindings they all broke as a backbone was plastic, then they changed it to metal in 2005 but skis broke after each jump it was too elastic and not strong enough, than the last year I got the new one and I had the same problem performance was excellent, bindings were super but skis were so flexible that after rough use they broke again. I hope thise years' 2007 Metron B5 are going to be better as I love the performance and things you can do with the Atomic Metron B5. mamu
