Arc'teryx Gamma SV Vest - Men's

Arc'Teryx Vest
I returned the vest. While I own multiple Arc’Teryx products and the quality surpasses everything else out there, the shoulders on the vest were like vestigle wings. In addition, there was a significant gap between the upper shoulder piece and my shoulder, leaving space for air entry. This was not desirable for winter mountain sports.

Great Vest
I read the other review here and wanted to respond to it by saying that I use this vest for outside activities all of the time and it is tremendous. I own a lot of Arc’Teryx products and love ’em all. Maybe the other user had an unusual misfit or a rare defective product.

Great jacket
Fits nicely. Quality product. Only downfall is it's expensive. But you get what you pay for!

my favorite piece of gear
I've had this vest for a couple of years now, and even though I had to pay I think more like $250 to be an early adopter, it was worth every penny. This is by far my favorite piece of gear. I wear it all the time, running, mountain biking, snowboarding, cruising around town - it never fails. I tend to overheat, so a softshell vest is perfect for me, I especially like that has the thinner material on the back for breathablity. I've worn this on a 30 min run in the pouring rain and was shocked that I was bone dry underneath. It's a perfect mid layer when I'm boarding (to about 10-15F), or outwear on spring days. I just washed it for maybe the first time in 4-5 years and that was only b/c I had to wash some other shells, it never stunk or lost it's weatherproofing, and has only barely started to not look brand new. Love this vest, it converted me to arc'teryx and I haven't looked back since!

Arc'teryx Gamma Vest
I bought the Arc'teryx Gamma Vest on a whim. I love this vest so much that I went ahead and bought the Gamma Jacket as well. Comfortable, warm and great looking. You can't beat that. So long Mountain Hardwear, The North Face, Marmot, and everyone else. I am now officially an Arc'teryx guy. One quibble: the Grizzly color does not look like it does in the photo, so be aware of that
