freaking awesome
This is one of my favorite hardshells from Arc’teryx. I don't really like the SL jackets, they're not good enough to justify the price. This insulated Patriot SV is also is a little bit cheaper than the Fissions and it has an adjustable powder skirt, which is awesome to keep out the draft and snow. I highly recommend this Arc’teryx product.

This is one of the better jackets I have ever bought. But, it is very expensive. I would suggest that you wait and buy it on sale. Of course, that only happens when the seasons change and a color is no longer on the line. But it is a good and very warm ski jacket. My only complaint about the jacket itself is: I think the sizing is a little off. My medium is a bit big on me although my measurements fit a medium sizing according to them.

The patriot SV is the only insulated jacket that offers Gore-Tex XCR, Primaloft, an adjustable pow skirt, and a well engineered hood all in one package deal. Ride pow all day with this jacket.
